Charles, Prince of Wales, to attend Gordonstoun, Scotland
1962 - Elgin, Scotland, United Kingdom - Charles, Prince of Wales will go to Gordonstoun, his father's alma mater on the Moray Firth in Scotland. At the beginning of the summer term he will join Windmill Lodge, a house with 60 boys at the £519-a-year 400 pupil tough school. His headmaster will be Mr F R G Chew who has run the school since 1959. The main aim of Gordonstoun, founded in 1934 by Dr Hahn, is the development of character and initiative, with strong emphasis on self-discipline and physical endurance.
