Charles, Prince of Wales, to attend Gordonstoun, Scotland

1962 - Elgin, Scotland, United Kingdom - At last the news is out - Charles, Prince of Wales, will go to Gordonstoun, his father's school on the Moray Firth in Scotland. In May, at the beginning of the summer term, he will join Windmill lodge, a house with 60 boys at the £519-a-year, 400 pupil school. His headmaster will be Mr. Chew, who has run the school since 1959. The main aim of Gordonstoun, founded in 1934 by Dr. Hahn is the development of character and initiative, with strong emphasis on self -discipline.
