1966 - Charlie Chaplin celebrating his 77th Birthday a day early on the set at Pinewood studios: Charlie Chaplin who will be too busy to take time off to celebrate his 77th birthday on Saturday was given a surprise party by the stars on the set at Pinewood Studios where he is making A Countess from Hong Kong which stars Marlon Brando, Sophia Loren, Sydney Chaplin (son of Charlie), and Tippi Hedren. They wheeled in a Giant Cake with the figure of Chaplin on top as he used to look in his films years ago.
