1966 - CHARLIE CHAPLIN CELEBRATES HIS 77TH BIRTHDAY A DAY EARLY ON THE SET AT PINEWOOD STUDIOS: Charlie Chaplin who will be too busy to take time off to celebrate his 77th birthday on Saturday was given a surprise party by the Stars on the set at Pinewood Studios where he is making A Countess from Hong Kong which stars Marlon Brando, Sophia Loren, Sydney Chaplin (son of Charlie), and Tippi Hedren. They wheeled in a giant Cake with the figure of Chaplin on top as he used to look in his films years ago.
