Charlie Chaplin in the Old Kent Road, SE London

Feb. 29 Charlie Chaplin in the Old Kent Road Charlie Chaplin finished shooting his new picture A Countess from Hong Kong yesterday - and did so only a short way from the place in Southwark, London, where he was born 77 years ago. The final scenes were in a warehouse in the Old Kent Road, just two turnings from the Chaplin birthplace in East Street. Mr. Chaplin did not visit the street - he has already done so - alone. Photo Shows: 71 year old Mrs. Lucy Leach, who has lived all her life in Old Kent Road, stops Charlie Chaplin for a shot yesterday. On right is Chaplin's wife Oona
