Oct. 10, 1974 - Charlie Chaplin Visits the Circus It has become a years old tradition, that Charlie Chaplin and family visits the Swiss National circus Knie every time it is in Vevey, where Chaplin lives. The Chaplin visit is always an opportunity for the circus to have more important guests. So Monaco's Prince Rainier had to sign in the Golden Guest Book of Knie Circus. OPS: Charlie Chaplin, 85 years old and apparently very tired left the circus before the closing of the performance, with his wife Oona, right, and his son in law Sistovaris, left, at his side
