Children demonstrate against nearby NATO gun range

Jun. 06, 1973 - Demonstrations against NATO Gunnery Range in Nordhorn. For a whole week Nordhorn's citizens demonstrated heavily against the enormous noise they suffer from the nearby NATO gunnery range which is used by various NATO partners to train their pilots in bomb gunnery. The demonstrators asked so violently for a stop of the training missions, that police were called to disperse the angry inhabitants of the city of Nordhorn. They demonstrated against the threatening of health and security by the nearby gunnery range. Ops: Even children demonstrate while sitting on barricades which have been built up near Klausheide
