Children wave flags during Coronation coaches rehearsal
May 05, 1953 - Practice For Coronation Coaches: All the carriages that will be in the Coronation procession on 2 June, including the State Coach, went for a practice drive along the route this morning. There was a practise of the assembly of coaches at Buckingham Palace and their dispersal at Westminster Abbey. Vast crowds watched the rehearsal.
