Jun. 06, 1968 - Dress Rehearsals For The Annual Blue Bird Dancing Matinee At The Adelphi Theatre, London: Over 150 children, from 2 to 12-years-old, all pupils of Miss Violet Ballantine, are taking part in the annual Blue Bird Dancing Matinee at the Royal Adelphi Theatre, Strand, on Friday July 5th. All proceeds will be given to the League of Pity funds. Today some of the children arrived at the theatre for a full dress rehearsal. Photo shows PC 49 and his brother report for rehearsals. Christopher, 4 (L) and brother, James Fagah, of Winchester St. London, are anxious to show their whistles to the police constable when they arrive at the theatre today
