Jan. 01, 1973 - The Black Market in Chile Chilean socialist government in these last weeks discovered various attempts of the conservative forces to make trouble in the food market. They produced an artificial food shortage by hoarding illegally tons of goods and throwing these goods then on the black market with highest prices. So the population got irritated and dissatisfied. OPS: This is one of these illegally hoarded food deposits discovered by the police
