Choirboy rehearsing for Coronation, Addington Palace
May 05, 1953 - Choirboys rehearse for Coronation :Thirty-two boys are rehearsing the music for the coronation at Addington Palace, Croydon, twenty of the boys have been chosen by the Royal Schools of Music from amongst its 3, 000 member choirs all over the country, and the other twelve are choristers from six cathedrals. This is the first coronation it is believed at which boys from parish church and school choirs have been chosen to sing.
