Aug. 27, 1961 - 27-8-61 British racing and sports car club meeting at Brands Hatch Ladies invitation handicap One of the attractions at today's motor race meeting at Brands Hatch was a 10-lap handicap race for ladies in grand touring, touring of sports cars. The winner of this event was 22-year old Miss Christabel Carlisle, of Kensington, who has competed in saloon car races against top men drivers. When she is not on the race track, Christabel teaches the piano at a London music school.
