Jan. 09 Christian Democratic Party Convention In Hanover: From May 24th to 26th 1976, the Christian Democratic party of West-Germany held its party convention at the city hall of Hanover. 800 delegates debated, among other matters, the actions for their election campaign for this year's Bundestag elections, held in October. The convention runs under the motto; For the love of Germany; Freedom instead of socialism'.
