Christian Radich, three-masted Norwegian sailing ship, Londo

Sep. 09, 1958 - The Christian Radich visits London: The three-masted square-rigged Norwegian sailing ship, the 680-ton Christian Radich, which is one of the stars in the Cinemiracle film Windjammer, now being shown in London at the Odeon Cinemiracle Theatre, sailed up the River Thames today from Gravesend to berth at West India Docks for four days, during which Londoners will be allowed aboard. She is manned by 74 Norwegian cadets, with Captain Kjell Backen in command. Photo shows view of the Christian Radich as she left Gravesend, Kent, where she arrived last night, on her way to London today
