Oct. 10, 1963 - Christiane Vlassi Named Danseuse Etoile': Director of the Opera in Paris, Georges Auric, named two new Danseuse Etoile : Christiane Vlassi and Cyril Atanasoff. Christiane Vlassi, aged 26, entered the Opera in 1948 and became First Dancer in January 1960. On the 7th, she will dance Odette and Odile in Swan Lake beside her husband dancer Attilio Labis.
