Jul. 07, 1975 - Merger of two vast fortunes: Christina Onassis, one of the world's wealthiest women, married-Alexander Andreadis in a tiny chapel yesterday to bind two huge fortunes and worldwide business interests, reports A.P. The simple Greek Orthodox ceremony was held in a private chapel in the exclusive seaside Athens suburb of Glyfada. Christina, 24, inherited the bulk of her father's industrial and shipping empire when he died last March. Alexander, 30, is one of three sons of banker - industrialist Prof. Statis Andreadis of Athens. THe wedding started 40 minutes late because of Christina's delayed arriva. Alexander had arrived 10 minutes earlier with his father at his side to greet Christina at the entrance of the courtyard leading to the chapel, where Father Marios was waiting to lead the ceremony. Christina arrived in a black limousine accompanied by her stepmother, the former Jacqueline Kennedy dressed in a white bridal gown and without a veil over her head. She hurried to Alexander's side and kissed him before the two walked inside the chapel. About 1, 000 persons gathered at the scene as police attempted to maintain order
