1968 - Palm Sunday - Donkey Goes To Church: Special services were held at Churches throughout the country yesterday to celebrate Palm Sunday. One of the most colourful ceremony at the village Church of Staplehurst, in Kent, where a donkey and children dressed in biblical Clothes the procession up the aisle. the vicar, the Rev. John Vicar, is always finding ways to make his services more interesting and colourful, for the adults and the large children. Yesterday, the Church was packed with a large congregation.
