Christmas - Halloween - Holidays
Dec. 12, 1989 - No Snow Christmas is coming up, the schools have closed down and most people in Switzerland are buying the last presents for their friends and relatives. Thousands of children and grown ups were looking forward to a white Christmas, not only in the mountains, but also down in the towns of the lowlands. Obviously Father Christmas cannot fulfill this wish; there is no snow in most parts of the the country and whoever wanted to go skying during the Christmas holidays will have to stay at home or go for a walk on the greenish hills. Skylifts and chair lifts are ready to transport people, but are prectically all closed
