Apr. 05 Conference On Multi-Fuel Engines. Mr Christopher Soames, the Secretary of State for War, today opened the Conference and Demonstration on Multi-Fuel Engines at the Fighting Vehicles Research and Development Establishment, at Chertsey, Surrey. The Multi-fuel engine is one that will run equally well on diesel fuel, gas turbine fuel or petrol, or a mixture of these. Photo shows.
