Oct. 10, 1976 - A hostile reception for Russian Terror chief when he arrived at TUC headquarters: Boris Ponomarev, the 71-year-old Stalinist hardliner, Russia's so-called Terror chief involved in the crushing of Hungary and Czechoslovakia, arrived in London today for a six-day visit at the invitation of the Labour Party National Executive. He was met by demonstrations outside the TUC Headquarters in London this evening when Mr Ponomarev arrived for talks with TUC leaders.
