Nov. 21, 1974 - Churchill Memorial Tablet in St. Paul's Cathedral.: A memorial tablet commemorating the State funeral of Sir Winston Churchill in January 1965 was dedicated in St. Paul's Cathedral yesterday. The bronze and black marble memorial, by John Skelton, the sculptor, is positioned beneath the great dome on the spot there Sir Winston's catafalque rested during his funeral service.
