Dec. 13, 1952 - Fountain cinema opened in Kassel, Germany; The German city of Kassel has its sensation. On December 12th, a newly built cinema opened here and it was chiristened The Cascade or The Fountain Prior to the opening of a performance the cinema seems to turn into a cardinal's castle in Tivoli. Illuminated fountains dance up and down - all for the fun of the visitors and movie goers. Herr Otto, an engineer and resident of Berlin, is the inventor of this mechanism. According to recent press information, he got an invitation to come to the New York music hall (Broadway).
