Nepal's biggest political alliance of three progressive parties launched a Civil Disobedience Movement in a non violent form in support of their demands for an early general election. Keystone Photo Shows: Members of the fire brigade hosing the pickets which formed outside the gate of the Secretariat. The pickets stood their ground. The police removed the pickets and released them from custody after about two hours
