Dec. 12, 1980 - MRS THATCHER ARRIVES IN DUBLIN FOR TALKS ON THE HUNGER-STRIKERS IN THE MAZE PRISON: The British Prime Minister Mrs Thatcher arrived at Dublin's civil airport today for talks with the Irish Government over the hunger-strikers in the H-Block of the Maze Prison in Belfast, who are on their 42nd day by seven men, and three women in Armagh Prison have just started their second week without food. Mrs Thatcher's visit so to try and persuade the Irish Prime Minister Mr Charles Kaughey, to come out publicly against the prison hunger-striker, and try and persuade the seven men in the Maze that thier protest is futile. They want to be given political status instead of convicted terrorists.
