Jan. 19, 1959 - Closing meeting of the opponents of atomic weapons in Frankfurt: The meeting of the opponents of atomic weapons which began in London ended on Sunday night with a meeting in St Paul's Cathedral in Frankfurt. During this meeting was formed a European committee against atomic weapons'. Hans Werner Richter was elected as President of the committee. 70 members of the London Conference flew on board a special plane to Frankfurt to attend the final meeting.
