Colin Jordan leaving Gordon Walker press conference

Jan. 01, 1965 - Colin Jordan creates disturbance at Gordon Walker's Leyton by election press conference: Britain's self-styled Nazi - Colin Jordan turned up this morning at the press conference held by Foreign Secretary Patrick Gordon Walker to start his by election campaign in Leyton, East London. It is expected that the Colour Bar question will be the chief point at issue at the by election for it was the immigration problem which helped Mr Walker to defeat in the General election. Colin Jordan shouted colour bar slogans before he was hustled out of the room. Photo shows Colin Jordan leaves the Committee Rooms which were daubed with swastikas overnight after his intervention in the press conference this morning
