1970 - Milburn returns to the wicket and notches up a trophy Defending the Lawrence Trophy yesterday, Colin Milburn, 28, former Northants opening batsman, after he had been presented with the cup and a £250 cheque for scoring the fastest test century in 1969. He made it off 163 deliveries against Pakistan in Karachi in March. Tom Graveney, the previous holder, who kept wicket with Freddie Truman at first slip at New Zealand House, London, said that everyone was deeply sorry that Milburn was unlikely to be seen in the middle again. Milburn, now manager of the Cavaliers, lost an eye in a car accident last May. H/Keystone
