May 05, 1965 - Tear gas at Argentine football Match: There is great rivalry between the Argentine teams, Independiente and Boca. The letter expected to go to Europe to meet Europe's best but were finally beaten by Independiante. When the teams met at the opening of the Argentine Football season recently there was violent play by the Boca players, five of whom had to be sent off. After the first two had gone off - the Boca supporters started pelting the pitch and police had to disperse them with tear gas.
