Feb. 26 The future lies in the tin Training for tinned foods - technicians in Neumuenster Vividly packaging-instruction get here students of the tinned foods-institute Neumuenster (Holstein; West Germany), the only one of this kind in Europe. There interests can be trained in two years to a certified tinned foods-technician, provided they have complete apprenticeship and worked two years in the food-branch. The institute has the aim, to promot this technology for the rectification of quality and durability of tinned foods. The most important factor at the development of tinned foods-products is the packaging, at which the material tinplate plays an important rule. Tinned foods-technicians, who have their place of work in laboratories and in the production, permanently work at new methods, to keep foodstuffs even longer fresh and of full value
