Feb. 28 Rector of a university taping a beer barrel It was an unusual sight when the rector of the Munich University Prof. Dr. Pascher taped a beer barrel on July 6th; the barrel had been placed in front of the university. Beer was given to passers-by and students, in return for a little contribution. The Munich group of the World University Service had thought of this way of getting the still missing DM 10, 000 (about 8500 pounds) for the erecting of a TB-sanatorium for girl students in Madras/India.
