Feb. 28 CHAIR FOR CONSOLIDATION AT THE MUNICH TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY. At the Technical University in Munich, the second chair for consolidation of farmland in Europe (the first one is in Zurich, Switzerland) has been recently installed. The main function of this professorship, hold by professor Heinz Moser (center, seen with his students) is to work on the manifold problems caused by the re-structuralization of the rural areas. This of course requires a narrow co-operation with a lot of institutes, which have to do with agriculture, ecology, rural corporation, town planning etc
