A getting acquainted session at Western Electric's Industrial Skill Center in Chicago, part of the Board of Education's program to bring down the drop out rate in Chicago's Lawndale section. Students at the Center spend half their day in class and half acquiring industrial skills at a pay rate of 4 per week for part time work
