Oct. 14, 1961 - Schoolboy's Tea Strike Quickly Settled By Gane: Nearly 400 schoolboys, many of them sons of the Ford tea-break strikers, went on a sit-down strike in the playground of their school, Cornwell Secondary, East Ham, London, yesterday when someone shouted We want a tea break as they were filing out for their 11 O'clock break. The toys sat shoulder to shoulder against the playground railings half an hour later the strike was settled the head had caned the 20 ringleaders before the assembled school.
