Twenty-one school children yesterday gave up their afternoon play-break to write an essay about 11-year old Joy Norton, the girl stabbed to death by a sex maniac and dumped in a meadow on the Channel Island of Jersey. The 21 boys and girls of First Tower School. St. Helier, live near Joy's home in Bel Royale. The children sat in silence while Constable Elfred Cooper, of the Parish of St. Lawrence, where the murder was committed, talked to them about the little girl they all knew. He explained how important it was to know every move made by Joy last week and especially on Thursday, the day she vanished.
