Jul. 07, 1966 - President Nyerere addresses opening of World University Service General Assembly.: President Nyerere recently addressed the openings of the World University Service General Assembly, at Dar es Salaam University College. this was the first time that a Head of State had addressed this 50 years old voluntary organisation. Eighty delegates from 30 countries, including Rhodesia and South Afr4ica attended the assembly, being hold for the first time in East Africa and the second time in Africa.
