May 05, 1966 - LSD Drug Out of Control': Dr. Timothy Leary, a controversial figure and former Harvard professor, claimed that the use of the hallucination drug LSD among American teenagers was out of control'. HE estimated that one of every three American college students has or is experimenting with LSD. Dr. Leary who is on ball pending an appeal against a thirty year jail sentence for possessing marijuana, was giving evidence to the U.S. Senate Juvenile Delinquency Sub-committee in Washington. He recently discussed and debated the various aspects of psychedelic drugs at American University.
