Jun. 06, 1967 - St.Paul's gets a New Dean the venerable Martin Gloster Sullivan. The venerable Martin Gloster Sullivan, Archdeacon of London since 1963, has been appointed the new Dean of St.Paul's. New Zealand born of Irish parentage, the Van. Sullivan succeeds. Dr.Walter Mathews, aged 85, who has resigned. The post included a ?3, 500 a year salary, and 25-room rent free house.
