He has not got enough time to learn Italian during the day - so he learns it at night - while he sleeps.. He puts a tape recorder by his bed side, with an Italian Language tape on a time switch - and a small speaker under his pillow. Mr. Algie believes that this system gets a student accustomed to the rhythm and pronunciation of a language. He says that In the mornings I know and understand words that have been played to me by the recorder - as if I had known them all my life'.
