Sep. 19, 1969 - First lunar samples arrive in Britain.: The first batch of the Lunar samples released by the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration allocated to research groups in the United Kingdom, arrived here today. They were brought back by Dr. S.O. Agrell of the University of Cambridge. After arrival at London Airport, Dr. Agrell took the samples to the science Research Council, High Holoborn, where, after a press conference, the samples were handed over to the principal investigators concerned.
