Jun. 06, 1968 - Soviet police release the three young Britons arrested in Moscow yesterday: The Soviet police today released the three young Britons, arrested in Moscow last night while handing out leaflets calling for the freedom of Russian political prisoners. The three are members of Church a radical Christian group, after signing statements they were sent back to their hotel and told to stay there. The three are Janette Hammond, 20, of Highgate, John Careswell, 21, of King's Head hill Chingford, Essex, a sociology student at South Thampton University and Vivian Broughton, 25, a laboratory technician of Ilington.
