May 05, 1969 - LONDON SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS STUDENTS CALL 24 HOUR STRIKE. A one-day student strike and a total ban on entering the London School of Economics have been called for tomorrow, when the school authorities will be seeking the committal to prison of three students for interfering with the running of the School. The strike decision was made at a meeting of more than 400 students yesterday. It was taken shortly after five students, all members of the militant Socialist Society, received summonses to appear before disciplinary boards. they are accused of disrupting or interrupting lectures.
