Nov. 11, 1968 - Ota Sik in Exil in Switzerland: Minister of the Economy of the Dubeck-government until the invasion of the Sowiet forces on August 21st, Ota Sik, professor for economics decided not to return to the CSSR and now chose Switzerland as his exil. Here he intends to live and to work as a private man, giving new and then conference and leading seminars at different swiss universities. Up to new he did not ask for asylum in this country. Also he has not been offered a professorship, although different student organizations claimed for it.
