Oct. 10, 1973 - Nobel prize in medicine and physiology awarded to German professors: Together with Professor Nicolas Tinbergen, (The Netherlands) Prof. Karl Von Frisch, 86, a zoologist and Prof. Konrad Lorenz, 69, famous behaviourist, were named as this year's nobel laureates. Prof. von Frisch who was born in Vienna (Nov. 20, 1886) has made sensational discoveries in regards to the sense for colours which is shown by bees, also discovering the bees language'. From 1910-1921 he worked at Munich's University, and was professor at Rostock University and at Breslau's as well as at Graz'.
