1981 - Tuckbox to be opened in 570 years time: 14 year old schoolboy Nicholas Tinworth was lifted by a hoist yesterday to place a hermetically sealed tuckbox in a rebuilt spire at Bedford School which was damaged by fire two years ago. The box contains his winning essay, a school tie, timetable and a detention form and will be opened in 570 years time when the famous public school celebrates its millenium.
