Jun. 06, 1959 - Deep-frozen wet-nurse Professor Dr. Werner Catell and his assistant Dr. Carl August Sager, both of the University Clinic for Children, have discovered a new method of preserving mother-milk. While until now it was preserved by heating, and though that procedure, all the natural ingredients were destroyed. The new powder, which has long durability is kept in glasses at - 18 degrees Celsius and can be dissolved in distilled water in a few seconds. that way it can be used for premature births.
