This follows a night of bitter riots in which seven people - including an American were reported killed. Panamanian hospital authorities said that 65 people were being treated for injuries-. American troops are now on guard along the border of the U.S. controlled Panama Canal Zone.. It was said that the trouble started when thousands of rioting students stormed the border in protest against the action of American students in the zone who flew the U.S. flag on its own at several schools.
