Colonel Ali Ismael Abokar
Aug 04, 1970; Mogadishu, Somalia; Colonel ISMAEL ALI ABOKAR, Vice President of Somali Democratic Republic was born in Erigabo in 1938. He was educated at the Sheik School and Sandhurst. Abokar was commissioned in 1961 and in 1969, he became member of the Supreme Revolutionary Council. In 1970 he was Secretary of State for Information and National Guidance, and Vice President in 1971
