Colonel Frank Norman, 56 year old Chairman of the Westminster Chamber of Commerce was arrested in his Regent Street office yesterday and charged with being concerned in the attempted export of 214, 000 worth of copper to being the Iron Curtain. He was released and bailed - and then last evening he attended a banquet at the Dorchester Hotel and responded to a toast - to the Westminster Chamber of Commerce - after it had been proposed by Mr. Lloyd George the Food Minister. Three men were on Wednesday remanded at Bow Street on bail of 27, 500 on similar charges, A guest of Honour at the dinner was Field Marshal Lord Alexander of Tunis the Minister of Defence.
