Jan. 18, 1951 - Paris, France - After STAN LAUREL and OLIVER HARDY found themselves working for comedy producer Hal Roach, it soon became obvious that the two men had a certain comic onscreen chemistry, and they ended up starring together as an incredibly popular comedy team in more fifty films in the 1930s and early 40s.
