Feb. 02, 1971 - Defends In Secrets Case Acquitted: The Sunday Telegraph secret case ended with the acquittal of all four defends at the Old Balley yesterday on charges of unlawfully communicating a report on the Nigerian civil war in contravention. Three of the accused, Mr. Brian Roberts, 64, Editor of the Sunday Telegraph Col. Douglas Cairns, 56; and Mr. Jonathan Aitken, 28, sat close to the dock as applications were made for costs. The fourth accused was The Sunday Telegraph. Photo Shows: Col.
